Dr. Andrew Chung is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He attended Oakwood University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. Dr. Chung continued his education at Loma Linda University Medical Center for medical school as well as ophthalmology residency. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Alpha Chi Honor Society. He is board-certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology as well as with the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Chung enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, hiking, and plant-based cooking.
Dr. Kaiea Iwasaki is our new optometrist! He attended Pacific University for his undergraduate education where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Iwasaki continued his education at Pacific University’s College of Optometry, where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry degree. He is currently a member of both the American and the Hawaii Optometric Association. Aside from taking care of patients. Dr. Iwasaki enjoys golf, pickle ball, and spending time with loved ones.
Alexis is a graduate of Kapa’a High School, after which she moved to Arizona and to complete an Ophthalmic Assisting Program at Gateway Community College (class of 2018). Alexis has previous experience working with various ophthalmologists; after an externship she decided to move back to Kaua’i. In her spare time she enjoys going on adventures with her daughter, Emoree.
Jessica is a graduate of Kapa’a High School. She is a skilled ophthalmic technician and has previous experience working with other ophthalmologists on Kaua’i. In her free time, she enjoys hula and fire dancing.
